Q. I have two large deep creases between my eyes. Frequently my kids and friends ask me if I’m mad or sad about something. Besides Botox or surgery, is there any way to fix that?
A. Yes! We’re finally able to offer new FDA soft tissue filler that will plump up those stubborn creases. The appointment takes about 15 minutes. There is little or no downtime and the results lasts approximately 6 months to a year.

Q. I recently had a facial in a plastic surgeons office. I was surprised when I noticed my skin lightly peeling a couple days following the facial. Is that normal? It was annoying trying to get my make-up on.
A. Not only is that normal to peel but it’s good for you! Getting rid of old dead skin cells through exfoliation makes room for the growth of new, fresh cells. Your skin will not only look prettier when the peeling has stopped but science has shown us that the skin is actually healthier since chemical peeling can remove some precancerous cells. For anti-aging and skin health, I highly recommend a simple micropeel with dermaplaning at least once a month. Do you really care about a few rough days when your skin is glowing and healthy the other 26 days of the month? I don’t!

Q. Over the years my earlobes have really aged. What can help?
A. Care for the skin on your ears just like you would your face, neck and décolletage. Apply the same prescription strength products and plenty of sunscreen daily. If they are wrinkled, investigate a filler to plump up the lines and wrinkles. With hair styles and earrings more fun than ever, it’s nice to complement your look with a fresh, young set of earlobes.
